What are you doing tomorrow? Watching TeenNick’s Degrassi marathon?

Don’t forget that tomorrow at 1pm, TeenNick will begin airing every episode of Degrassi ever. It’s going to take a full 10 days to get through all of them. There’s nothing better than lying on the couch watching some classic season 1 TNG!

What a great way to start 2010! Remember: new episodes of Degrassi will most likely return in Feb. on both CTV and TeenNick. We can’t wait to find out what is to come for Degrassi this year!
Happy New Year Degrassi Fans! ♥

If you still want to apply, you can do so by the end of the day today. I will be making a decision tomorrow, and will email all those who applied.

Information about the Degrassi fan blogs and how to apply can be found right here!

Stephen Stohn clarified his statement this morning about season 10 being “new and surprising.” Previously he tweeted that the surprises did not involve the storylines (although they would be surprising as well). Some fans speculated that the surprise was that Degrassi would be converted to a 1 hour format for each episode. This is not the case, even though some 2-part episodes will probably air together as usual.

Stephen Stohn: The new and surprising thing about Degrassi 10 is not that it will become hour-long… (it might be shown as hourlong sometimes, but that’s not the new and surprising thing I was talking about!)

I can’t wait to find out what this surprise is!
Merry Christmas everyone! I hope you all enjoyed opening presents this morning.

Adamo Ruggiero recently did an interview with Out Magazine which you can now check out online! In the interview, Adamo talks about his latest movie (Making the Yuletide Gay), what it was like coming out to his friends, parents, and brother, as well as Adam Lambert’s AMA performance. Here’s an excerpt:

You said you’d like to play more gay characters in the future. What kind of gay characters would you like to explore?
I want to play a character who struggles with issues outside of being gay. My straight friends go through the same kinds of things that gay people my age do. We’re worried about finding a job or how to deal with our families. I think if we show a character who doesn’t talk about his sexuality so bluntly, it will be more powerful.
