Tomorrow night, right before the new episode of Degrassi, Much Music will be airing My Date With… the Cast of Degrassi. Like all other My Date With… episodes, this one follows Ashley as she spends the day hanging out with the cast! Visiting the set, going rock climbing, go karting, and more!! Premieres Thursday at 8:30pm on Much Music.

Have you been to Whatever it Takes recently? Degrassi-Fans.com blogger Ashley recently attended the Soundspeed showcase in Toronto and has since posted a full report of her experience! On the overall experience, Ashley writes:

Overall, I had a great time at the show. I wasn’t expecting the band sound like it did in a way. Their EP , and the preview clips don’t compare to when they perform live. If you EVER have the opportunity to see them live, go and see them! They are amazing live, and all of them are great entertainers, and really nice, down to earth guys.

I had such a difficult time trying to make a decision. I am so surprised at how many I received. I thought I might get 1 or 2. Instead my inbox is full! I loved reading all of your applications. We are all so passionate about Degrassi, especially it’s messages and concept. It’s great to see!

Since this site is called Degrassi-fans.com, I think that it needs to be more about the fans themselves. We already have CTV and TeenNick’s official websites where we can watch episodes and find information. This is our little space on the net. Hopefully these blogs will be a fun place where we can talk about everything and anything Degrassi!
