A new contest gives you the opportunity to win a walk on role on Degrassi. To enter, all you have to do is send an image, write-up, or video on how & why you should be on Degrassi. Another Degrassi contest has surfaced, this one with Beinggirl.ca and Faze Magazine. The contest (only open to Canadians) is for a girls day out with the Degrassi cast! The grand prize winner will receive a trip to Toronto including flights, meals and accomodation. They will get to spend the day with the Degrassi girls, enjoying theme park activities at Horseshoe Resort, spa services, and even a dress rental.

If you’re like me, you’ve been watching the Degrassi Season 10 Carnival Trailer on repeat in anticipation for Degrassi’s new season this July. One of the best parts about this trailer is the killer song - Shark in the Water by VV Brown. It’s a great track by a great artist. VV Brown is a a pop/punk/soul artist from the UK. Her debut album, Travelling Like the Light is an exciting collection of many different styles of music.

With new episodes on Much and the upcoming Degrassi Takes Manhattan movie, the Degrassi promotion machine is really starting to heat up this summer. We already told you about Much Music’s Win a Date with Degrassi contest, now another contest (only open to Canadians) also tests your love for Degrassi. The Ultimate Fan Contest, brought to you by Neutrogena, asks you to upload a short blurb explaining why you love Degrassi. You can also include a picture or video if you so choose. The winner will receive a trip to Toronto to meet the cast and crew!!! The deadline for this contest is June 24th, so you still have lots of time to perfect your entry. Much Music’s hit series “My Date With…” is doing a Degrassi episode! They are looking for the biggest Degrassi fans to score the date of a lifetime and meet the cast of Degrassi! The winner gets a trip for 2 to Toronto, and a special rock star treatment along with hanging with the cast.

The guys from Soundspeed are holding a fan vid contest! They want you to make a video using their song “Magnets for Lips” (available for download at their Myspace).
